
Mountain Lakes Resort is a private membership campground where our members, family members, guests and visitors are allowed into the resort under specific guidelines and rules.
Mountain Lakes lies at an elevation of 3200 feet.
Mountain Lakes has over 400 full hook-up sites. Each site has water, electric and sewer hook-ups, to accommodate a camping unit or tent and is furnished with a picnic table and park-style barbeque.
Mountain Lakes accomodates motorhomes, diesel pushers, travel trailers, toy haulers, fifth-wheels, tent trailers, pop-up trailers, teardrops, van conversions or tents. There is no year, make, or model restriction.
Mountain Lakes can accommodate any size camping unit. Contact Operations Center for site availability.
Yes. You can have up to two tents on a site or one tent with an RV.
Full hook up check-in is from 7:00 a.m. until 10:45 p.m.
Full hook up check-out is before 11 p.m.
Cabin check-in starts at 4:00 p.m.
Cabin Check-out is by 11:00 a.m.
Every full hook-up site and park pride model has a park-style BBQ grill and picnic table.
Yes! For your convenience, we offer full restroom and shower facilities located throughout the resort at no cost.
Yes! Mountain Lakes allows up to three pets per site. Pets allowed include dogs and cats.
Only electric powered vehicles are allowed, i.e., golf carts, bikes, scooters. Not allowed are skateboards, hoverboards, and gas-powered vehicles of any kind.
Mountain Lakes only allows wax fire logs or propane as a fuel source. Only screened-in fire pits are allowed at individual sites or park pride models. There are two wood-burning community fire pits located at either lake, available for use with permission obtained from the Operations Center.
Mountain Lakes has two fishing lakes. The lakes are stocked year-round with seasonal fish.
Yes. You can obtain a permit at our Operations Center or General Store.
There is a full fish cleaning station with cutting boards, water sprayers, sink, scale, bags and paper towels to clean and weigh your catch.
We offer a full restaurant & bar on site (hours may vairy). We also have a general store.
We do offer a general store with, RV supplies, snacks, refreshments, food & drinks, pet supplies, entertainment and bait & tackle.
Yes. We offer free WiFi to all guests of Mountain Lakes throughout the resort.
We have a private ranger staff to assist you; the front gate is staffed 24 hours.
Mountain Lakes Resort does not accept mail. If you need to receive mail, contact the Lytle Creek Post Office for details. A mailbox for outgoing mail is located at the bottom entrance driveway of the resort.
Generators may be used in the event of a power outage within the resort. Generators may be operated during quiet hours (11 PM to 7 AM); however, once the power has been restored, generators must be turned off.
Yes. The wilderness area is located across Lytle Creek Road and is open for use from 7 AM to dusk.
The resort speed limit is five miles per hour in all areas. This includes golf carts, bicycles, roller blades, skates and scooters.
The possession of firearms or other weapons in the resort is prohibited. Fireworks of any kind in the national forest is strictly prohibited by law.
Graffiti, vandalism or damage of any property is not tolerated. Attachments to trees, post and buildings are not allowed.
